Senate Bill 814 National Guard Tax Exemption Update

Your MoNGA representatives have been working pretty hard to get clarification on how Senate Bill 814 affected National Guard Soldiers.  The answer has finally came.  The Missouri Department of Revenue has released their interpretation on how SB 814 affects Missouri National Guardsman on their website.  The post can be found here.  It seems to address a fair amount of questions.  Your MoNGA leadership continues to advise our members to consult their tax professionals, but the DOR interpretation should be able to help provide our Soldiers and Airman some valuable information.

Additionally, your MoNGA Leadership continues to put forth maximum effort in supporting Senate Bill 144.  That is the bill that would make IDT and AT pay tax exempt.  Just remember the stronger our organization is, the louder our voice can be.
