The MoNGA Conference is just around the corner, 21-22 April, so I thought I would send out one last reminder and update. This conference is shaping up to be one of our best and most interesting in recent years. Our vendor list has increased and they are excited to visit with Missouri Guardsman. We have invited Governor Greitens to the conference. We have confirmed attendance from Senator Wayne Wallingford, he is the sponsor of Senate Bill 144. That is the bill trying to get drill and other pay state tax exempt. Retired General Frank Grass is scheduled to be in attendance as well as our organization leadership.
Registration is still open at www.mongaonline.com. The registration fee covers the Friday evening BBQ Mixer and the Saturday evening banquet. We have a DJ to provide music in the hospitality area in the evening hours and of course, the hospitality area is free. Additionally, hotel rooms are still available at 91.00 dollars per night, but those rooms are going and when a certain number is sold, the price break will be removed. You can reserve your hotel room by calling Tan-Tar-A at 573-348-3131.
The silent and live auction being held at the mixer is shaping up nicely. Attached are some photos of what will be up for auction, but not shown is 3 sets of 4 rounds of Golf at the Eldon Country Club. Also for auction is a weekend at Camden on the Lake including a 2-night stay, a 50 dollar restaurant gift card, and a 100% gift certificate at the spa. We have tickets to a Cardinals game and tickets to Royals games. There is sure to be much more, so you might want to be ready to bid on these items.
We would like to see to have a large attendance to show support our organization as we continue to push for SB 144. We hope you will consider registering and attend.
As always, as your Enlisted Chairman, I stand ready to assist you if you need.
Thanks
